The Role:

We’re looking for someone to fulfill the role of our Volunteer Lead. This is someone motivated to take the lead in the Canada Day London volunteer management. The Volunteer Lead will be able to incorporate their skillset to prepare for the event, and manage the day of operations.

Duties Include:

• Support the preparation of recruiting volunteers for Canada Day London; volunteer waivers, ordering shirts, creating volunteer guide and managing the volunteer meeting before the event
• Work closely with Canada Day London volunteers and position leads (onsite role) to ensure they receive all the information prior to the event
• Managing the allocation of volunteer roles and creating the schedule prior to the event
• Provide post event analysis on surveying done through volunteers

Experience:

• Previous experience as a volunteer
• Previous experience in Management at least 2 years
• Great organisational, communication and time management skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Share the love for Canadian culture!
