Canada Day London is back! With your help, we brought this great Canadian festival back to Trafalgar Square for 2023. This was a spectacular celebration with 30,000 fellow friends, eating poutine, drinking Molson, and dancing away to an all Canadian lineup on the Music Stage. We needed lots of volunteers to make this happen and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you to the many volunteers that were part of this great event.

This is event is in collaboration with the High Commission for Canada in the UK.

Volunteer Lead
The Role:
We’re looking for someone to fulfill the role of our Volunteer Lead. This is someone motivated to take the lead in the Canada Day London volunteer management. The Volunteer Lead will be able to incorporate their skillset to prepare for the event, and manage the day of operations.
Duties Include:
Support the preparation of recruiting volunteers for Canada Day London; volunteer waivers, ordering shirts, creating volunteer guide and managing the volunteer meeting before the event
Work closely with Canada Day London volunteers and position leads (onsite role) to ensure they receive all the information prior to the event
Managing the allocation of volunteer roles and creating the schedule prior to the event
Provide post event analysis on surveying done through volunteers
Experience:
Previous experience as a volunteer
Previous experience in Management at least 2 years
Great organisational, communication and time management skills
Excellent leadership skills

Social Media Lead
The Role:
We’re looking for someone to We’re looking for someone to fulfill the role of our Marketing Coordinator. This is someone motivated to take the lead in the Canada Day London marketing campaigns and social media management. The Marketing Coordinator will be able to incorporate their skillset into our digital marketing, onsite marketing, and media plans.
Duties Include:
Help support the social media efforts of Canada Day London alongside our marketing partners
Work closely with Canada Day London partners to deliver their marketing requirements
Provide post event analysis on marketing campaign
Experience:
Previous working experience as a Marketing Coordinator at least 2 years
Great organisational, communication and time management skills
Attention to detail
