MUSIC AND FOOD TRUCK LINEUP COMING SOON!

DJ SHUB

Considered to be the Godfather of PowWowStep, DJ Shub has undoubtedly pioneered a growing genre of electronic music. Born Dan General, he is a Mohawk, turtle clan of the Six Nations of the Grand River located in Ontario, Canada. His latest album War Club (2020) was released to critical acclaim during the pandemic, featuring collaborations with other indigenous and BIPOC artists like Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Boogát, Fawn Wood, and Phoenix Pagliacci to name a few.

Ethan surman

A little bit hippy, a little bit disco.

At the age of 20 Ethan Surman has spent a lifetime honing his craft. A true multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter. A melding of Pop music fervor and static bedroom recordings. Rounding out an eclectic sound that skirts the lines of R&B, Indie, and Hip Hop.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Dominic Fike, Daniel Caesar, Tame Impala, Stevie Wonder and the Beatles, Surman has formed an homage to the profoundly emotional works that raised him. Encapsulated in passionate writings and lyricism, as well as a visceral and moving live performance. Slamming together characters collected from rock bands with vocalists who bring soaring harmonies while adding moving piano melodies.

François Bourassa

François Bourassa—now with ten albums of original music under his belt—has become an ambassador for Canada’s thriving jazz community at an international level. A paragon of consistency and evolution and inspired by a diversity of sources, his award-winning eponymous quartet has been a staple of Montreal’s artistic landscape since the early 1990s. The album L’Impact du Silence (April 2021) is Bourassa’s first solo piano recording.

housewife

Based in Toronto, Brighid Fry (she / they) likes to describe Housewife as a project comprised of anyone who collaborates with her — in Nashville, Los Angeles, and New York City-based recording studios, or on tour everywhere across North America. Mostly recently Fry traveled to Nashville to write and record these songs and others with music industry mainstays like producer Gabe Simon (Lana Del Rey, Noah Kahan), performer and producer Mikky Ekko (Rihanna, Vince Staples), and indie pop artist Young Summer.

In 2020, the band signed to the US-based major label Hazel Street Records (Sony / Orchard) and released the five-track EP, ‘You’ll Be Forgiven’ in 2022, which was lauded by CBC Q’s Tom Power as “thoughtful and introspective [with] lyrics about coming of age, growing up, and making mistakes.” Fry is setting her sights on the future — through her volunteer work with the musician-led activism group Music Declares Emergency, as well as naturally through the release of new music.

neon dreams

Neon Dreams is a Canadian alt-pop duo consisting of vocalist Frank Kadillac and drummer Adrian Morris. They write and produce their own music with long-time collaborator Corey Lerue. They defy genre pigeonholing, as they draw freely upon pop, rock, folk, EDM, hip-hop and reggae elements. Their most successful songs are “Marching Bands,” “Survive”, “High School Dropout”, “Life Without Fantasies” and “Little Dance”.

tara maclean

Canadian singer/songwriter Tara MacLean has been an internationally renowned and award winning recording and touring artist for over 25 years.

She released her first album with the Nettwerk Music Group in 1996 and Sony Music Publishing Canada. Since then has been signed with Capitol Records, and EMI Canada with her JUNO nominated band Shaye. She has written and recorded six solo albums and two with the band.

Her first book, Song of the Sparrow, was released on March 14th, 2023 with Harper Collins Canada, followed by a new album that is the soundtrack on March 31st.

super duty tough work

SINCE FORMING IN LATE 2014, SUPER DUTY TOUGH WORK HAS EARNED THE REGION’S PREMIER LIVE HIP HOP CONTINGENT TITLE.  FRONTED BY BRENDAN GREY AND BACKED BY A HIGHLY SKILLED GROUP OF LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL MUSICIANS, THE BAND PREFERS TO HIT THE STAGE AS A SEVEN-PIECE ENSEMBLE WITH HORNS, DRUMS, BASS, GUITAR, AND KEYS.

the hello darlins

What happens when a few of Canada’s most in-demand session musicians decide to create something new? You get ‘THE HELLO DARLINS’.

Making a name as the biggest breakthrough artists on the international Americana scene in 2021 with their debut album Go By Feel, Canadian country/roots collective, The Hello Darlins are gearing up to return with an even more ambitious collection of material for 2023.

Led by Romani-Canadian musician, Candace Lacina and world-renowned Keyboardist Mike Little, The Hello Darlins are some of Canada’s most in-demand session musicians who came together to forge a distinct hybrid of country, gospel and blues. In keeping with their spirit of collaboration, The Hello Darlins will again feature many other friends and guests, a trait that has lead the band to earn the reputation as “a rootsy version of Broken Social Scene.”

summit tasty

Born out of Elliot & Michelle’s 6 years of travelling the world, going from peak to peak, seeking out the best adventures, always being inspired by the food and people we bumped into along the way…and then eventually one particularly crappy job!

Paired with the serendipity of there being a burger van parked outside our newly bought house, all of that combined inspired us to have a shot at something that we really loved, starting our own food van business!

That’s where UNE comes into the picture…

We’ve transformed Une from a dusty workhorse of a builder’s van, into Summit we think is really special, allowing us to live our dream of running our own food business.

hogless roast

Hi! We’re Matt and Ross, two vegans craving an old fashioned hog roast. Unable to take down another bean burger, we decided to take matters into our own hands.

Together with our award-winning chef and our great team, we’ve come up with the UK’s first hog roast roll that even Piglet and Babe would approve of.

You can find us serving up our vegan BBQ at our East London kitchen and at markets, festivals, vegan wedding catering and private events across the country.

dessert ballers

Dessert Ballers was first born under a different name, ‘The Chocolate Kebab Company’ in January 2017. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know what we started selling! But would you believe it, our main product was our Chocolate Kebabs. Made by taking a Fresh Pitta (crêpe), tasty toppings, mounds of cream and our delicious chocolate shavings carved live off our rotating Chocolate Kebab! (no meat just chocolatey goodness).

After taking our Chocolate Kebabs to various Events, Street Food Festivals, Christmas Markets, Shopping Centres and Private Functions all over the UK, and after gaining a massive following and a ton of amazing press both on and offline, we started to play around we new ideas and new ways to create delicious tasting desserts and chocolates, such as our Waffle Balls. Because of the success of our new products we found it would be best to to rebrand to allow us to expand our range of Delicious, Tasty & Fresh Desserts, and so Dessert Ballers was born.
